Watercolors

I began my exploration into watercolor painting 20 years ago. I have studied with several fabulous teachers and learned something new from each of them. This, in concert with my own experimentation, has brought me closer to my own style and artistic voice.

I love painting all things related to nature; all flora and fauna. In my paintings I use rich, deep, vibrant colors that I feel bring my artwork to life. When I paint I am completely in the moment; all outside thoughts and worries disappear. For me painting is therapeutic, relaxing and freeing.

Jewelry

Recently, I have begun making jewelry using vintage tea, cookie, coffee and trinket tins. After deconstructing the tins I choose a template shape that fits the artwork on the tins. Pieces are hand-cut, sanded and assembled. A very fun and satisfying art form.

In addition to my new vintage tin jewelry, I continue to create jewelry using sea glass and beach stones as well as jewelry using old watches and watch parts.
